Easter Sunday

Today was a great day! We had a wonderful Easter Sunday talking about Christ and his great gift he gave us. We discussed with the kids why we celebrate Easter and the importance of the holiday. As tradition holds, Marisol gets a new dress to wear to church and Omar gets a new outfit or shirt and tie. The kids were excited to get dressed in their new clothes for church. After church, we had a wonderful meal of grilled seasoned pork chops, steamed asparagas and broccoli, potato salad, deviled eggs and 3 cheese french bread. Needless to say, we were stuffed! After dinner, we piled on our bed and watch a great video called "He is Risen" from LDS.org Then the kids wanted to watch other videos put out by the church. It is so fun to hear them recognize the prophets voice and images of the apostles. They get excited when they can tell us the stories they have been learning at church in Primary. What a great blessing it has been to have them take to the gospel as they have! We enjoyed an afternoon together playing games and eating Easter goodies.

Hello my Dears Brynn, Eric, Marisol, and Omar.I was so happy to read of the wonderful tings you did on Easter Day. Also how these precious children of yours recognize the love of Jesus Christ for us. They were meant to be your own children. Such cute and handsome new Easter clothes too. I also had a nice Easter Day.
Things have changed around here a bit. My Pigeon Pen has been demolished and taken away. My neighbors on the East of me have put up a beautiful, tall, wooden fence. My backyard now looks spacious! XO Gramma
