A year ago today, our little boy had his first ear surgery. What a blessing it was to be able to provide for him. Our surgeon, Dr. Shelton, is a very talented man. He replaced Omar's eardrum and took out all the disease in the bone. Omar regained 90 decibels of hearing. Which means he went from severely deaf to almost mildly deaf! What a blessing. He still has a ways to go, but how cool to experience the progress he has made.
