This year we allowed Omar and Marisol to try their hand or foot at a sport. Marisol immediately choose basketball. Unfortunately, we missed basketball sign-ups by 2 weeks, so she chose soccer. A girl after my own heart! Omar chose baseball. He has been in love with baseball (even though he has never played) since he was 6 years old. So we signed him up. They both loved their sport and cheering each other on! We have really enjoyed watching them grow in their sport and as a thriving athlete.

A neighbor boy who is very talented at gymnastics, was offering basic tumbling. So we took advantage of that too! Marisol and Omar have been taking tumbling since January and love it also.

FIFTH GRADE!!!! Wow, a challenge for sure, especially for the boys as hey discover their strength. But, don't let it scare you. They really have soft hearts. You will be a loved teacher.
