Eric and I are in the process of selling our current home (which we have loved) and buying a new one. A couple of weeks ago we found one we love! We put in an offer with the contingency of selling our home. The sellers loved the offer but put it on the back burner. They want us to have our home under contract or sold before they accept. I totally see where they are coming from. So we had the wonderful realtor who showed us the home, come to our house to talk decisions. See, Eric and I are trying to sell our place by owner. You know, trying to get the most out of the sell. The realtor was so nice and helpful. We discussed putting our house up for sell by her and what she would do to help us sell it. She was so prepared with research and numbers that we felt really comfortable with her. Because we would be buying from her, she would cut down the percent of her commissions! We had two people come to look at our place on Thursday, so told her we wanted a weekend before we officially put her in charge. In the meanwhile, the home we love in Nibley we have had second thoughts. Mainly me. I am not sure we are to move there. Frustrating! So back to square one. Our realtor took us to other homes in Nibley and Providence and one of the previous homes popped into my head again last night. So I revisited it last night and thought about us there. Now comes the hard part, do we pursue this new home in Nibley (we will call the white home) or do we continue our search once more?
I knew parents make hard decisions, but really who knew the dilemma they face when they look for new homes. Not only do you uproot yourself but your children and start over in a new neighborhood, school, ward and community. Hard choices! I have a new found respect to my parents who have moved several times in their married life.
Thanks mom and dad for being so careful when choosing where to live. We have been truly blessed!

I know what you mean! Moving our kids schools is stressing me out already, and we won't be moving for like a year. There's definitely A LOT to think about when you're a parent! Good luck.
Um, no you don't want that house in NIbley because you want to live in our subdivision, remember:) wink, wink!!
On a more serious note, you must truly be in tune with the spirit to realize that the original home just might not be the one for your family at this time. Keep praying about it, answers will come!
Wow, for sure--a hard decision. Take time, pray, follow the Spirit.
There must be a reason about the Nibley Home - whether or not to choose it.
Brynn-
What's the address of the home in Nibley? If it is around 2600 S. then it is not a hard decision cuz you could be in our ward. :)
The house next door to us is still for sell!
Um hmmm....
