Eric and I were reflecting on our week (half week) at home so far. We have jumped right back into the swing of things and Eric is getting ready for school to start again tomorrow. Last week at this time, we were leaving Mexico and heading to Vegas-our stop over point. I can't believe how fast the time went! Eric is editing all the journaling he did while we were in Mexico, so a little more patience will be needed until we can post some of the hight lights.
We woke up this morning to a blanket of fresh snow on the ground (and still snowing). The weather was predicted to snow all day Saturday, Sunday and part on Monday. Saturday was very warm and melted almost every bit of snow we had from the last storm. The roads were slushy and very wet. It started to get cold and freeze the slush, but no snow fell on Saturday. We weren't expecting any snow Sunday morning, but here comes the promised snow we were told about.
It's hard to believe that at the end of this new week, January will be half way over! Where does the time go?
