Spaghetti Dinner

Getting ready to eat
Ready for some food
Yummy cake
The cake was bigger than his head

Last Sunday was my Grandparents Miller's 60 wedding anniversary party. We had a great turn out and about 60+ people were there. We were able to get family pictures, individual family pictures and one huge group picture. What a process to get 60+ people together and looking good. I can't wait to see the pictures! After the pictures we had a spaghetti dinner, but it had a tweek to it. Every person chose a "different" plate, utensil, and cup to use to eat. It was put in a paper bag and stapled shut. Everyone went around and chose a different bag to use to eat with. Some were too funny! There were things like new dust pans to veggie trays as plates, measuring cups to spray bottles to drink out of and whisks to plastic gloves to eat with. What a good time!

We also learned more about my grandparents. Apparently my great grandpa Prestwich owned a watermelon farm and my grandpa went to his house because he was told a pretty girl lived there, to pick watermelons at night. One thing led to another and they started dating and fell in love. It was a great night filled with laughter, catching up with cousins, aunts and uncles and visiting with my grandparents!
