Two words: World Cup! Wow, what a month! Eric and I were so giddy when the World Cup started in June. We geared the kids up for the US opening match against England. We pulled out the hats and scarves to cheer on our teams. We got the kids excited about sitting in front of the tv for 90 minutes by pulling out lots of treats. I am pretty sure this is the only reason Marisol and Omar sat as long as they did. What a great month full of fun games and talented athletes. Too bad it only happens every 4 years.

we too had so much fun watching the world cup at our house! why is it that the united states thinks soccer is so lame?? why oh why? i mean, it is the coolest sport. why do they not know this?
