The last full day in California was spent on the beach and at the pool. It was nice not getting up early and heading out for a full day of fun. We slept in and took it easy. While we were walking back from the beach to the hotel, we stopped along the harbor shops. The kids found some hats they wanted to get as souvenirs. They look cute in hats. I browsed but didn't find one that said buy me. Eric was searching for a hat as well. We drove to the pier to see if the shops had any hats we likes. My parents found a t-shirt shop that had fun hats. So we went and Eric found one he really liked. After several hours in the pool, we talked the kids out. We got showered and got ready for some yummy food on the harbor. We went to a mom and pop restaurant that had very yummy fish and chips, fish tacos and hamburgers. The kids loved sitting out by the water. After we ordered our food, I went into a shop by the restaurant. I found a hat I really liked and bought it. My trip was complete with my souvenir. We ate and then walked back to the hotel where we relaxed and went to bed. The next day we would be leaving beautiful, sunny California.
