Omar woke up sick the day we were leaving on vacation. What do you do? We took the morning very slow and had him rest a lot! I think he had a migraine. He was complaining of a really bad headache. So I rubbed it for a while. Then he threw up and I continued to rub it. He fell a sleep for 20 minutes and woke up with it not hurting as bad. I went to the store to get some children's tylenol headache medicine, saltine crackers, and a sprite. This usually does the trick for upset stomaches. While Eric and Marisol went to drop Hailey off at Grammy Pammy and Grandpa Du's house, Omar laid on the couch and rested. He got a hold of the camera and was entertaining himself. After an hour and a half of no headache and throwing up we decided to proceed to Maren and Jeff's house in Vegas. We stayed the night and continued the rest of the way to OceanSide the next day.
My whole family ventured out to Southern California for a week of sun and play! We left on Saturday, May 29 and came home Tuesday, June 8th. My aunt has a time share in OceanSide, California where we all stayed. We were able to get one unit for my parents, brother and grandma, one unit for Brooke and her family, and one for Eric and I and the kids. Maren and Jeff were able to come for a couple days so they bunked with mom and dad. Of course there are always bumps and roadblocks along the way, but over all it was a fantastic vacation!
The first day was spent grocery shopping, relaxing on the beach, playing in the pool and then getting together in the evening for a pinata for the kids and to celebrate Karlee's birthday and mother's day and father's day.

Aunt Maren made a cake for Karlee's birthday and we celebrated that night.
