We got a call last Monday telling us that our sentencing from the Mexican Courts/Government should be this Friday October 30th. We, needless to say, are hesitant to jump for joy and start celebrating. What does this mean? When the sentencing goes through, we will be DONE with the Mexican Government. According to Mexico, Marisol and Omar are legally ours and the adoption is final! Next we work on birth certificates and passports then visas and bring them home! Yahoo, the light is finally there, but we are waiting because lets face it, this is Mexico we are dealing with and it has already been 29 months of deadlines and disappointments. But we are feeling good and are excited to go down in November to see the kids and get the next steps over with.
