It all started around 5:15 pm. Eric and I were discussing our plans on how to spend our Christmas money, phone rebate and insurance refund monies. We have discussed getting a Wii for a long time but could never justify spending that much on a gaming system. We called SMP (Smith Marketplace) and asked if they had any in stock. I had received a really good tip from a friend of mine at work that they had some. They had 3 on their shelf. We thought, "well, we have to go to the bank anyway, so why not look". We deposited our money and headed back to electronics. Sure enough, there it was. We grabbed one and sat for about 5 minutes thinking if we should buy it or put the money towards something else. Needless to say, we bought it! We are the proud owner of a Wii, we are finally in the loop.
The other reason why tonight was so great is the fact that we got to watch the Manchester United vs Chelsey soccer game on a BIG tv tonight. Technically the game was from yesterday, but Eric's dad rip it last night and we watched it together. What a game! Manchester dominated the game. The final score was 3-0, shut out. They are now ranked 3rd. What an awesome night!

Yay for the Wii! We love having our Wii! It's the only gaming system I've had any desire to buy. And, it gets us up and moving about.
Did you use my $10 toward your Wii? I will have to kick your butt at tennis some time!!
we want a Wii too but dan just got a new xbox a couple years ago. so we are stuck for now. how cool though. your kids will love playing with you! BTW - my sis lives in london and went to this game. makes you sick with jealousy, doesn't it?!
