Our hotel was right on the bay. We could see the beautiful Star of India sailing ship from our window. We were close to Harbor Village, the convention center and the mall. What else could you ask for? Kelan (a buddy that graduated with Eric) also went the ASHA convention and his cute wife and darling baby girl came along. While the boys were in classes all day, Shelley and I walked the streets of San Diego, scouted out good places to eat, and entertainment for the day.
While we were in San Diego, the America's Cup sailing races were going on. We were on the tail end of the races, but got to see some qualifying races and cool sailboats. There were teams from Korea, China, Japan, Australia, Canada and the US. It was awesome to be in that environment.
We had so much fun sight seeing, walking the streets of San Diego and eating yummy, fresh sea food!
